He went to the USA, won five Olympic gold medals, broke world records, kept five wives and died at 79 after being inducted into the Hall of Fame and given a Hollywood star. Present at two Olympics, Tarzan was one of the greatest swimmers of all time. It is said that he would have dropped, per cent, under 50 seconds, but that the record was not homologated. As for the last wish of the famous actor, he wanted that when his coffin was lowered, the cry of Tarzan could be heard in the background. He died at the age of 80, on January 20, 1984. His father was a Hungarian carpenter named Janos, and his mother was Aloisia R\u00f6ssler, a Swabian from Banat.<br \/>Settled in Trieste after the war, Francesco Illy remained in Italy, where he was employed by Hausbrandt. This company, founded coincidentally in the year Francesco was born, dealt with the preparation and marketing of coffee. Staying in Trieste, Illy became Italian also because the status of belonging of the city of Trieste passed from the Austro-Hungarian Empire to Italy, just as Timi\u0219oara passed to the state of Romania.<br \/>In 1933, what is now Illycaffe was born, founded by Francesco Illy, with Roberto Hausbrandt as an associate.<br \/>After two years, Francesco Illy patented his invention: the modern coffee maker. Since 1935, the way coffee is made has changed forever, with Illy replacing the system based on compressed air with one based on steam. She studied German and Romanian at the University of Timisoara, then worked as a translator in a factory and as a teacher. She came into the sights of the Security and began to be persecuted after her refusal to collaborate and following her friendship with the members of the Aktionsgruppe Banat society. In 1982, she made her debut with the volume of stories Lowlands (Niederungen, Kriterion; Humanitas Fiction, 2012), massively censored, which will appear in 1984 in the FRG. Since 1985, Herta M\u00fcller&#8217;s works have been banned in Romania. Increasing pressure from the Security forces forced her to emigrate to Germany in 1987, and since then she has been living in Berlin. To meet his residential needs, it was necessary to have a proper castle. Thus, a castle was built, which was placed on the site where the Huniade Castle can be found today. The king lived in his castle for 8 years, starting in 1316, having access to the city with the help of a drawbridge, the castle being on a small island. After he left Timi\u015foara, the castle was left in disrepair, especially because it had suffered great damage following an earthquake. The situation changed when Iancu of Hunedoara became \u201dComite\u201d of Timi\u015f in 1441. A \u201ebeilerbei\u201d was installed in the castle of the fortress, with the rank of pasha or even vizier. For 164 years, Timi\u0219oara was under Ottoman domination, being under the direct control of the sultan and for a period of time it had the same status as Belgrade and Buda. Under Turkish rule (1552-1716), Timisoara enjoyed special attention from the sultan and became one of the most important centers of Ottoman occupation in this part of the Empire.
